A new study has found that eight in 10 dog owners say that being matched with their pet was meant to be. Not only that but of the 2,000 dog owners who were surveyed, nearly three-quarters (74%) said their dog resembles them in key ways, including energy levels, social habits and emotional sensitivity, with many agreeing that their canine is a reflection of their own demeanour. The survey conducted by Talker Researcher explored whether people choose pets that reflect their personality, and the results show a striking emotional connection.
